Look! Here! Is! A! Photograph!
It’s of me and radio 2 Drivetime DJ, Simon Mayo.
I featured on his show the other day to chat about The Shock of the Fall. I was terribly nervous, but it went okay really. He’s a nice guy. If you click on the photo (anywhere, even my adam’s apple) it’ll link you to the BBC page, where you can listen to the interview and hear some listener reviews.
I heard Nathan speak and read from his book The Shock of Spring yesterday at the Waterfall Gallery in Birmingham and was so impressed I bought the book. I suffer from mental health issues and have spent time in a psychiatric hospital and must say that Nathan writes with great insight. It’s also moving as well as a compelling read.
